Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in Application Support, Software Support, or Production Support roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux/Unix systems and shell commands.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Service Request, Problem, Change Enablement, Release, Monitoring).
• Experience with ticketing/incident tools (Jira, Zendesk).
• Willingness to work shifting schedules, weekends, and off-hours support.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 application and operational support for Java/web-based apps hosted in AWS.
• Follow ITIL standards for service and incident management.
• Monitor application and infrastructure health via dashboards, logs, and metrics.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within SLAs across application, system, and performance areas.
• Create and maintain monitoring alerts and dashboards for proactive detection.
• Document knowledge and propagate best practices; update tickets accurately.
