Job summary

Avaloq in Makati City, Philippines seeks a detail-oriented L2 Application Support Engineer to provide second‑level technical support for wealth management platforms. You will diagnose complex issues, write SQL, analyze logs, and ensure platform performance while coordinating with development teams.

Ideal candidates have 3–4 years in production support, strong Oracle SQL, Unix/Linux, Java knowledge, and experience with batch jobs and ticketing systems.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years in L2 application or technical support in production.
• Strong Oracle SQL, Unix/Linux commands, Java application understanding.
• Experience with batch monitoring tools and incident handling.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for wealth management and digital platforms.
• Write and debug SQL queries; analyze logs on Unix systems.
• Monitor batches and scheduled jobs; maintain knowledge base.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to resolve issues.
• Adhere to SLAs and ITIL processes; participate in on-call.
