Job summary

Avaloq in Makati City, Philippines is seeking an L2 Application Support Engineer to provide advanced technical support for wealth management and digital platforms. You will diagnose complex issues, write SQL for data validation, and monitor batch jobs across enterprise systems.

You will work with DevOps and L3 teams, contribute to runbooks, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure smooth platform operation and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3–4+ years in L2 application/technical support in production.
• Strong Oracle SQL including complex queries and joins.
• Experience with Unix/Linux command-line and log analysis.
• Experience with Java-based applications and batch job monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-level support for wealth management and digital platforms.
• Write and debug Oracle SQL queries for data issues.
• Perform Unix command-line operations for log analysis and job monitoring.
• Collaborate with dev teams to identify root causes and implement fixes.
• Maintain incident documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Participate in on-call rotations and RCA reporting.
