Private Advertiser in the Philippines is seeking an L&D Specialist – Soft Skills to design, coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate learning programs that develop employees' soft skills and overall competencies. The role focuses on training and development within store operations across retail, grocery, food & beverage, or restaurant environments, working with frontline staff, supervisors, and people leaders.

We are looking for an L&D Specialist – Soft Skills who will design, coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate learning programs focused on developing employees' soft skills and overall competencies.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in training and development within store operations, preferably from retail, grocery, food & beverage, or restaurant environments, and is comfortable working with frontline employees, supervisors, and people leaders.
Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and identify soft skills competency gaps.
Design and develop engaging, learner-centered training programs and materials.
Facilitate training programs covering:
Communication & Customer Service
Presentation & Facilitation
Leadership & Supervisory Skills
Problem Solving & Decision Making
Negotiation
Conflict Management
Time & Priority Management
Develop training modules, facilitator guides, participant materials, activities, and assessments.
Apply adult learning principles, experiential activities, case studies, and simulations.
Coach and develop internal trainers, facilitators, and Subject Matter Experts.
Monitor training completion, participant feedback, and assessment results.
Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements.
Prepare L&D reports, dashboards, and management updates.
Coordinate training logistics, schedules, vendors, external facilitators, and other requirements.
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, HR Management, Education, Business Administration, Communication, or a related field.
At least 3 years of relevant Learning & Development / Training experience.
Strong experience in store operations training, preferably from retail, grocery, food & beverage, or restaurant industries.
Proven experience conducting Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and identifying competency gaps.
Strong training design, facilitation, presentation, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
Experience evaluating training effectiveness and analyzing learning results.
Strong coordination and project management skills.
Proficient in MS Office, presentation platforms, and digital learning tools.
Creative, organized, adaptable, collaborative, and people-oriented.
L&D or training-related certifications are an advantage.
We prefer candidates who have substantial exposure to frontline/store operations and soft skills training, particularly those who understand the realities of retail and customer-facing environments.
