Job summary

oCommerce is seeking a Senior Email Marketing Manager to own email and SMS strategies across multiple ecommerce brands, building automated journeys in Klaviyo and driving retention. You will segment audiences based on behavior and purchase history, align campaigns with launches, and collaborate with design and marketing teams to maximize revenue.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Klaviyo experience for ecommerce brands.
• Strong lifecycle marketing strategy and retention focus.
• Experience building automated email and SMS flows.
• Strong knowledge of customer segmentation and behavioral targeting.
• Experience analyzing campaign performance and making data-driven optimization decisions.
• Familiarity with Shopify and ecommerce customer journeys.
• Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt to different brand voices.
• Experience with A/B testing methodologies and experimentation.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort with marketing metrics.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
• Experience with loyalty programs, subscriptions, or retention initiatives is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own email and SMS marketing strategy across multiple brands.
• Build, manage, and optimize automated customer journeys in Klaviyo.
• Create customer segmentation strategies based on behavior, purchase history, and engagement.
• Develop campaign calendars aligned with product launches, promotions, and seasonal initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Email UI/UX Specialist to produce high-performing campaigns.
• Write compelling email and SMS copy reflecting each brand's voice.
• Manage list growth, deliverability, suppression, and account health.
• Analyze campaign performance and optimize open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and revenue.
• Conduct A/B testing across subject lines, messaging, timing, offers, segmentation, and automation logic.
• Monitor customer lifecycle metrics and identify opportunities to improve retention and repeat purchases.
• Maintain integrations between Klaviyo, Shopify, and other marketing platforms.
• Stay current with evolving email marketing best practices, compliance requirements, and platform capabilities.
