Job summary

Sketch Books Inc. is seeking a dedicated kitchen team member to assist with food preparation, cooking, plating, and garnishing according to established recipes and standards.

You will store, label, rotate ingredients, maintain sanitary kitchen conditions, support inventory and deliveries, and coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely order fulfillment in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

• Must have good moral standing.
• Graduate of Vocation Diploma, short Course Certificate, Bachelor's Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, culinary or hospitality-related training or equivalent.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Punctual, reliable, and able to handle repetitive tasks.
• Willingness to work on weekends, holidays, and shifting schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, cooking, plating, and garnishing according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure ingredients are properly stored, labeled, and rotated following food safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
• Support inventory monitoring and report low stock levels to the supervisor.
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures at all times.
• Coordinate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Perform opening, closing, and other assigned kitchen duties as needed.
