Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion food according to established recipes and plating standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and storage areas
• Assist in prep work including washing, peeling, and chopping
• Follow food safety and hygiene protocols and proper storage of ingredients
• Support cooking team by ensuring ingredients and equipment are ready
• Monitor temperatures for storage and preparation
• Wash, sanitise, and organise utensils, pots, pans, and equipment
• Dispose of waste and recyclables per procedures
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely orders
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management
• Assist with inventory management and restocking of kitchen supplies
