Qualifications

Responsibilities

About the role

We are looking for dedicated and reliable Kitchen Staff to join the team at ZC Kings Manpower Janitorial Services Cooperative. This is a full-time position based in Taguig City, Metro Manila. As Kitchen Staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining our kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards are met, and supporting our culinary team in delivering quality meals and service to our guests and clients. This position is essential to the smooth running of our hospitality operations and directly contributes to the overall dining experience we provide.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and assembling food items, including sandwiches, salads, and other menu offerings according to established recipes and presentation standards
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of food preparation areas, cooking equipment, and utensils in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Supporting the head chef and senior kitchen staff with food preparation tasks and cooking duties
• Receiving and storing food deliveries, checking for quality and ensuring proper inventory management
• Operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including ovens, grills, fryers, and food slicers
• Assisting with meal plating and presentation to ensure consistency with established standards
• Maintaining strict adherence to food safety and hygiene protocols at all times
• Responding promptly to kitchen orders and working efficiently during peak service times
• Contributing to a positive and collaborative kitchen environment by working effectively with team members
• Disposing of waste appropriately and maintaining a clean and sanitary working station

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working in a kitchen environment, food preparation, or sandwich making is essential or highly desirable
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and health regulations relevant to food preparation
• Physical capability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and lift items weighing up to 15 kg regularly
