Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking food items according to established recipes, standards and portion requirements
• Assisting in preparation of ingredients including washing, peeling, chopping and portioning
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of assigned work station and kitchen areas
• Operating kitchen equipment safely (ovens, grills, fryers, etc.)
• Following all food safety and hygiene protocols to prevent contamination
• Plating and presenting dishes according to standards before service
• Assisting with inventory management and stock rotation
• Supporting senior kitchen staff and chefs during busy service periods
• Responding promptly to service requests and maintaining efficient workflow with team

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Staff member to join the team at ZC Kings Manpower Janitorial Services Cooperative. This is a full-time position based in Malate, Manila City, Metro Manila. As Kitchen Staff, you will play a vital role in our hospitality operations, ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently whilst maintaining the highest standards of food preparation, hygiene and safety. Your contributions will directly impact the quality of service we provide to our guests and the overall success of our establishment.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing and cooking food items according to established recipes, standards and portion requirements
2. Assisting in the preparation of ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping and portioning
3. Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of your assigned work station and kitchen areas
4. Operating kitchen equipment safely and responsibly, including ovens, grills, fryers and other cooking appliances
5. Following all food safety and hygiene protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
6. Plating and presenting dishes according to established standards before service
7. Assisting with inventory management and stock rotation of ingredients
8. Supporting senior kitchen staff and chefs during busy service periods
