Responsibilities

• Prepare, cut, slice and portion food items according to recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including washing, sanitising and storing equipment.
• Assist in preparation of sandwiches, meals and other food items with accuracy.
• Monitor storage conditions and rotate ingredients using FIFO.
• Support cooking by prepping ingredients, mise en place and organising workstations.
• Follow food safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain an organised and safe workspace during shifts.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure timely service.
• Report equipment issues or food quality concerns to supervisors.
