Responsibilities include counts, records, reporting, and coordination with kitchen staff and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and proper storage, while maintaining food safety standards and cost control.

Qualifications

• College graduate; fresh graduates welcome.
• Experience in inventory management or warehousing in food/hospitality.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with detail orientation.
• Proficiency with inventory systems and Excel.
• Good organizational and time-management abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety and storage standards.
• Excellent communication with kitchen staff and management.
• Physical ability to count, lift and move inventory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inventory counts and audits for kitchen supplies and equipment.
• Record transactions (receipts, issues, adjustments) in the inventory system.
• Monitor stock levels and identify trends to maintain optimal quantities.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and suppliers for timely delivery and proper storage.
• Investigate discrepancies between physical stock and system records and apply corrective actions.
• Organize and label inventory storage areas for easy access.
• Prepare inventory reports highlighting variances and costs.
• Support cost-control initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Help forecast inventory needs based on production schedules.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and storage standards.
