Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, Kitchen Assistant to join our kitchen operations at our Lanang branch. In this role, you will work closely with our prep cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation, maintain hygiene and safety standards, and keep the kitchen running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Food Prep & Support: Assist cooks in preparing ingredients (chopping, washing, portioning, and packing) according to café standards.

• Sanitation & Hygiene: Wash cookware, utensils, and dishes; keep work stations, kitchen counters, and equipment clean, sanitized, and organized.

• Inventory & Storage: Help unload deliveries, store incoming supplies, monitor stock levels, and organize storage rooms or cold storage units.

• Waste Management: Dispose of kitchen waste regularly and adhere to food safety guidelines.

• Operations Support: Help maintain overall kitchen efficiency during rush hours and carry out general utility tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience: Prior experience in a restaurant, bakery, café, or fast-food kitchen is an advantage, but entry-level applicants with a strong work ethic are welcome to apply.
