The Key Account Officer will serve as the technical lead and key UGEP representative supporting our Joint Venture with Aboitiz Power. In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with Aboitiz Power's sales team to offer embedded solar power proposals and technical solutions to Electric Cooperatives (ECs) and Distribution Utilities (DUs).
You will act as the technical subject matter expert during client visits, assess site feasibility, assist in pricing/pre-feasibility analysis, and ensure solar projects progress smoothly from initial pitch through early-stage development.
Client & Site Visits: Accompany Aboitiz Power sales representatives on site visits to Electric Cooperatives and Distribution Utilities to deliver technical presentations and explain DU-embedded solar power proposals.

Perform initial site assessments, technical evaluations, and gather critical site/grid connection data.
Assist internal engineering teams in determining project feasibility, sizing, and pricing for proposed solar installations.
Help prepare technical proposals, scope-of-work documents, and preliminary plant designs.
Help move accepted/awarded projects forward by coordinating early-stage development activities (permitting support, grid connection inquiries, and stakeholder alignment).
Act as the direct liaison between UGEP's internal technical/engineering teams and external partners/clients.
Maintain records of site visit reports, client technical feedback, and project pipeline statuses.
Assist in drafting commercial proposals, presentation decks, and formal technical communications.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the confidence to present technical concepts to client management and executives.
Ability to work collaboratively in a joint-venture / cross-functional team environment.
Willingness to Travel: Must be willing to travel frequently for site visits and client meetings across target electric cooperative coverage areas.
Basic background or comfort in client-facing, consultative sales or business development.
Basic proficiency with engineering tools (e.g., AutoCAD, PVSyst, or Helioscope).
Dynamic exposure to high-level joint venture projects with industry leaders.
Direct involvement in the expanding renewable energy and DU-embedded solar sector in the Philippines.
Career growth and mentorship under experienced solar engineering leaders.
