Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Collections Specialist for its Global Service Center in Asia with a focus on end-to-end OTC processes and B2B collections. You will manage outstanding accounts, analyze payment trends, and collaborate with cash applications and invoicing teams to drive timely resolutions.

The role requires an accounting background, strong communication, and willingness to work night shifts in a globally connected team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounting required.
  • Experience in direct customer contact, service and collections preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of end-to-end OTC cycle and B2B collections.
  • Proficient in AR systems and processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; email etiquettes.
  • Advanced English level.
  • Team player and self-motivated.
  • Willing to work night shift.

Responsibilities

  • Management and collection of outstanding customer accounts.
  • Maintain collections for clients/cluster/BU and ensure timely collection of all invoice types.
  • Monitor, report and escalate customers in breach of credit terms.
  • Perform customer analysis on payments, disputes and on account information.
  • Coordinate with cash applications, invoicing and other teams to resolve actions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Management and collection of outstanding customer accounts.
  • Maintain collections for clients/cluster/BU and ensure timely collection of all invoice types, credit reporting and analysis/review.
  • Monitor, report and escalate customers in breach of credit terms.
  • Manage/Maintain collections for clients/cluster/BU and ensure timely collection of all invoice types.
  • Perform customer analysis on the trending, payments, disputes, on account etc and proactively drive Collections using these information.
  • Follow up or escalate with cash applications, invoicing, dispute, SB Audit, D&D, Sales etc teams on actions pending to ensure timely resolution.
  • Additional functions may be required according to business area needs.
We are looking for
  • Bachelors degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounting
  • Experience in direct customer contact, service, and collections preferred
  • In-depth understanding of end to end OTC cycle and B2B Collections
  • Proficient in AR systems and processes
  • Verbal & Written communication & Soft Skills (Email etiquettes)
  • Advanced English Level
  • Team Player & Self Motivated Person
  • Willing to work in a night‑shift
