Job summary

CoDev Philippines in Makati is seeking a junior support engineer to assist B2B clients using VoIP termination/origination services, including SIP and PBX issues. On-the-job training is provided.

You will perform pre-sales provisioning with the team, troubleshoot via phone and email, and work with Tier1 suppliers to resolve tickets. The role requires full onsite presence in Makati and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Willing to report FULL ONSITE in Makati office.
• Experience with Linux-based PBX such as Asterisk or Freeswitch, or willingness to learn on the job.
• Knowledge of QoS, Linux-based packet trace tools, SIP signaling debug, or willingness to learn on the job.
• Firewall experience or previous networking employment is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-sales engineering and provisioning tasks.
• Work closely with network operations and monitoring teams.
• Troubleshoot equipment with client IT teams via email and phone.
• Open and resolve tickets with Tier1 suppliers and perform testing.
• Suggest and implement system and process improvements.
• Assist clients with remote troubleshooting of SIP-based PBXs.
• Support front-line CSR duties when needed and assist with new installs.
• Provide technical writing for blog posts and social media.
• Work flexible hours on occasion.
