Job summary

Astek is seeking a Junior UI/UX Designer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience to grow into next‑generation digital experiences, including AI-assisted and chatbot interactions. You’ll work on core UX tasks—research, flows, wireframes, prototypes—and learn how conversational interfaces shape user journeys.

The role emphasizes collaboration with product managers, business teams, and engineers to deliver cohesive experiences.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in UI/UX, product, or interaction design.
• Strong fundamentals in user-centered design and design thinking.
• Good communication, storytelling, and UX writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive UI/UX experiences across web and mobile touchpoints.
• Map user journeys, create wireframes, prototypes, and interaction flows.
• Support the design of simple conversational experiences (chatbot flows, prompts, fallback paths).
• Translate user and business needs into clear, user-centric design solutions.
• Work closely with product managers, business teams, and engineers to deliver cohesive experiences.
• Participate in requirement gathering, design discussions, and usability reviews.
• Analyse user feedback and conversation data to improve interaction quality.
• Contribute to design documentation, standards, and best practices.
