Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 1–2 years of Australian accounting and taxation experience.
• Experience with Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate working papers aligned with client and Australian standards.
• Produce complete financial statements and year-end accrual reviews.
• Prepare and review tax returns, reconciliations and provisions.
• Assist with BAS/IA statements for Australian clients.
• Maintain timely workflows and update daily timesheets in client systems.
• Raise clear queries to onshore team early.
• Deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.
• Stay updated on Australian accounting and taxation requirements.
