Job summary

ILO Construction, Inc. in Metro Manila invites a senior Civil/Structural Engineer to lead design-build projects, including warehouse and industrial facilities.

You will perform structural analysis and develop designs for steel, concrete, and masonry structures, ensuring alignment with architectural intent and client requirements. Prepare calculations, drawings, and specs per NSCP, ACI, AISC, and ASCE 7; coordinate with architectural, civil, and MEP teams; provide site support and reviews;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering required.
• Licensed civil engineer with structural specialty preferred.
• 5–10+ years in design-build, warehouse and industrial facilities.
• Proficient in SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, STAAD and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of NSCP, ACI, AISC, ASCE 7 codes.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, and masonry structures.
• Develop conceptual and detailed designs aligning with architecture and construction practicality.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications per NSCP, ACI, AISC, ASCE standards.
• Coordinate with architectural, civil, and MEP teams for integrated design solutions.
• Provide technical support to construction teams, addressing clarifications and site changes.
• Conduct value engineering and cost optimization balancing safety and economy.
• Review shop drawings and submittals to ensure design compliance.
• Participate in design coordination meetings with clients and consultants.
• Perform structural inspections and issue reports as needed.
• Ensure designs meet quality, safety, and sustainability standards.

• Strong knowledge of NSCP, ACI, AISC, and ASCE 7 codes and standards.
• Understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and material behavior.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
