Job summary

Outsourced.ph is seeking a Junior Legal Associate who'll report directly to the VP of Legal Team. You will conduct legal research, draft, review, and edit contracts, pleadings, motions, and briefs, and help prepare cases for trial.

You will collaborate with the VP of Legal Affairs to organize evidence and case materials. The candidate must be a member of the Philippine Bar, with strong English writing and communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure both independently and as part

Qualifications

• Must be a member of the Philippine Bar in good standing.
• Strong writing skills in English, both written and oral.
• Ability to conduct legal research and prepare case materials.
• Fresh bar passers welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law to support case preparation and advisory work.
• Draft, review, and edit legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Collaborate with the VP of Legal Affairs to prepare cases for trial, including organizing evidence, exhibits, and case materials.
• Communicate with the internal team and relevant stakeholders to gather information, provide case updates, and address inquiries and concerns.
• Assist in the development of legal strategies and solutions by analyzing and interpreting laws and precedents.
• Represent the company in court proceedings under the supervision of the VP of Legal Affairs, including presenting arguments and examining witnesses.
• Stay informed about changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents relevant to the practice area.
• Uphold the highest ethical standards in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
