Job summary

Qualifications

• 0–1 year IT infrastructure support experience (internship or academic projects considered).
• Basic understanding of Cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner: must pass by end of month 5.
• AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer: must pass within 12 months, up to 2 attempts.
• Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
• Willingness to learn Terraform and Docker.
• Strong problem-solving attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in deploying application releases, changes, and updates under supervision.
• Act as initial contact for basic IT support and troubleshooting; escalate complex issues as needed.
• Monitor alert systems and notify team members when action is required.
• Support recovery tasks from infrastructure or software failures following guidance.
• Verify backups and perform basic system monitoring and log reviews.
• Provide internal IT support to staff for routine hardware/software issues.
• Document environments, SOPs, and troubleshooting steps.
• Write and maintain simple scripts to automate repetitive tasks.
• Collaborate to identify recurring issues and suggest improvements.
• Support patching, hardware setup, user provisioning, and security checks.
