We are looking for a hands-on Network & Systems Administrator to help operate, maintain, and secure the organization’s technology infrastructure. This role will provide day-to-day support across network environments, servers, cloud resources, endpoints, access management, and infrastructure security.
The successful candidate should be comfortable diagnosing technical issues, managing Linux and Windows environments, supporting AWS infrastructure, and resolving connectivity and system-related incidents. The position requires strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with internal technical teams and external service providers.
This is a hybrid position with occasional onsite support for critical infrastructure activities, including audits, hardware concerns, network work, and other urgent technical requirements.
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot infrastructure-related incidents, service requests, and operational issues.
Administer Linux and Windows servers, including system configurations, services, patches, storage, logs, and basic automation scripts.
Investigate recurring technical problems, perform root cause analysis, and recommend measures to prevent repeat incidents.
Manage system accounts, permissions, access rights, and identity-related configurations.
Support endpoint deployment, software installation, security tools, and configuration management.
Maintain system availability, reliability, and operational performance across assigned infrastructure.
Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network components such as switches, routers, wireless infrastructure, firewalls, and VPN connections.
Support LAN, VLAN, routing, and other network connectivity requirements.
Maintain core network services including DNS, DHCP, NAT, and IP addressing.
Troubleshoot connectivity issues between users, on‑premises infrastructure, remote environments, and cloud services.
Coordinate with internet service providers, vendors, and other technical teams when resolving network-related incidents.
Administer and support assigned AWS environments, including EC2, EBS, S3, IAM, VPC, subnets, security groups, and routing configurations.
Monitor cloud resources, system performance, logs, alerts, backups, snapshots, and recovery activities.
Assist with AWS access management, security configurations, resource tagging, and infrastructure hygiene.
Support basic cloud cost monitoring and optimization initiatives.
Help maintain reliable connectivity between on‑premises systems and AWS environments.
Monitor infrastructure and security alerts and assist in investigating potential security incidents.
Support vulnerability remediation, system hardening, patch management, and secure configuration activities.
Assist with identity and access controls, endpoint protection, and security compliance requirements.
Participate in audit preparation, data protection, privacy, and information security initiatives.
Escalate security or infrastructure incidents based on their severity and business impact.
Assist with backup monitoring and validation, redundancy checks, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery activities.
Maintain accurate documentation covering infrastructure configurations, network diagrams, incidents, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
Follow established change, release, and configuration management processes when implementing infrastructure changes.
Keep technical records current and ensure operational procedures are properly documented.
Work with internal IT teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and service providers to resolve technical issues.
Provide secondary support across another infrastructure area when the primary technical owner is unavailable.
Communicate incident status, risks, blockers, and resolution progress to relevant stakeholders.
Provide onsite technical assistance when required for critical infrastructure activities.
Participate in on‑call or after‑hours support for urgent infrastructure concerns.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
At least 2 years of professional experience in network and systems administration.
Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience working with AWS and Linux environments.
Practical experience in:
Working knowledge of AWS services including EC2, EBS, S3, IAM, VPC, security groups, and route tables.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
Good written and verbal English communication skills.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with technical and non‑technical teams.
Willing to provide on‑call support and occasional onsite assistance for audits, hardware concerns, network activities, and other urgent infrastructure requirements.
Willing to work extended hours or weekends when necessary to support critical business or infrastructure activities.
Candidates located near Ortigas or One Ayala are preferred due to occasional onsite requirements.
ASAP availability is highly preferred.
Candidates with one or more relevant certifications are preferred:

CompTIA Security+
Other relevant certifications in networking, cloud computing, systems administration, or cybersecurity
