Job summary

Institutional Shareholder Services Philippines seeks a detail-oriented data entry specialist to collect, classify, and organize data from financial documents and investment vehicles. You will research and update information on individuals and firms, support committees and projects, and report progress and risks to management.

The role requires strong Excel skills, MS Office proficiency, and excellent communication. Hybrid work with initial onsite training is offered in Makati/Manila, Philippines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or closely related field; fresh graduates encouraged.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to thrive in a cross-border environment.
• Highly adaptable and able to manage changing tasks with the manager.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet performance metrics.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Collect input data ensuring accuracy and consistency in routine data entry tasks.
• Collect and classify information from financial documents and regulatory filings based on established methodologies.
• Integrate and organize data from source documents related to investment vehicles such as Mutual Funds, ETFs, Pooled Separate Accounts, and Collective Trusts.
• Research, gather, and update data related to individuals and firms in the financial services industry.
• Participate in committees, projects, and initiatives beyond core responsibilities as needed.
• Communicate progress, potential issues, and risks related to operations in a timely and effective manner.
• Ensure relevant databases are regularly updated and maintained for accuracy and completeness when assigned.
• Maintain appropriate paper and electronic records in accordance with ISS and client file retention policies.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree graduate in Finance, Business, Economics, or a closely related field; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office, with strong working knowledge of Excel.

Compensation & Benefits

• Permanent day shift schedule (10am – 7pm, Manila Time) based in Makati City.
• 2-6 months onsite training prior to transitioning to a hybrid working arrangement.
• Hybrid working arrangement with at least 3 days onsite per week.
