Qualifications

• Must be in good standing with the Philippine Bar.
• Graduate from top Philippine law schools with background in commercial law and tax.
• Excellent communication, research and analytical skills.
• Results oriented and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Able to review contracts, conduct corporate housekeeping and draft pleadings and advisory opinions.
• Capable of working with engagement team to resolve legal issues.
• Organized and detail-oriented when reading legal documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Partners and Senior Associates in conducting legal and factual research on assigned cases.
• Draft pleadings, contracts and other legal documents.
• Interview and prepare witnesses for court proceedings.
• Litigate in court, present witnesses and negotiate with opposing counsels.
• Assist in drafting and/or review of agreements, including suggesting necessary and/or useful revisions on draft agreements before consulting with Senior Associates; and
• Accomplish office forms and administrative requirements in a timely manner.
