Job summary

PwC Philippines is seeking a Senior Associate to support the firm's legal, regulatory, and compliance functions. You will work with internal stakeholders to manage legal risks and provide practical legal advice on contracts, governance, and regulatory matters.

You will draft and review agreements, monitor compliance, conduct legal research, assist in disputes, and guide junior team members. Fresh bar passers are welcome; Philippine lawyer qualification required.

Qualifications

Must be a Philippine Lawyer
Open to fresh bar passers with strong legal fundamentals
Experience in contract review, governance, compliance, or regulatory matters is an advantage

Responsibilities

Provide practical legal advice on corporate, commercial, regulatory, labor, data privacy, IP, and risk management matters
Draft, review, negotiate, and monitor contracts and related legal instruments
Identify legal and business risks, options, safeguards, residual risks, and actions required
Support compliance with laws and PwC network policies
Conduct legal research and provide practical recommendations for complex issues
Assist in managing disputes, investigations, and regulatory inquiries with external counsel as needed
Review legal risks related to client engagements, vendor arrangements, and strategic initiatives
Support corporate governance requirements including board resolutions and filings
Monitor developments and advise stakeholders on impacts
Deliver guidance and training on legal, compliance, and ethics to internal teams
Collaborate with Risk & Quality, Human Capital, Independence, Tax, Deals, and others on firm initiatives
Guide associates and junior team members
