Smartsourcing is seeking an entry-level Accounting Associate to join our team onsite in Cebu City. You will support day-to-day financial operations, focusing on expense review, payment reconciliation, and onboarding while ensuring compliance with tax regulations and internal policies.

You will work with MS Excel and accounting systems in a structured finance environment, learning to maintain accurate records and adapt in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Entry-level experience; foundational accounting knowledge.
• Basic understanding of tax compliance and financial record-keeping.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems.
• CPA pathway or accounting certifications are advantageous but not required.

Responsabilités

• Review submitted business expenses for accuracy and eligibility.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax and regulatory guidelines.
• Identify discrepancies and elevate issues when necessary.
• Perform manual payment reconciliations and maintain records.
• Support client or account onboarding processes and document setup.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation or digitization.
