Job summary

Elite Virtual Employment Solutions (EVES) is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our onsite team in the Philippines and support multiple US-based clients. Duties include general accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close, with a focus on accuracy and GAAP compliance.

The role requires 1–3 years of accounting experience, a relevant bachelor's degree, strong English communication, and willingness to work 2 pm–11 pm, Monday–Friday to align with US working hours.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience.
• Experience preparing general ledger account reconciliations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Highly independent but a team player.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English – verbally and in writing.
• Willing to adapt to a non-traditional work shift to overlap with US side work hours – 2 pm to 11 pm Mon to Fri.
• Willing to work onsite at the locations listed in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting functions.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheets and general ledger accounts.
• Analyze financial data.
• Prepare/review weekly and month-end accounting reports.
• Prepare/review financial statements and report according to schedule.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Review and modify accounting systems and procedures.
• Provide input into the department’s goal-setting process.
• Complete special projects as necessary
• Must be able to multitask and work on several clients on each given day.
