Job summary

Elite Virtual Employment Solutions (EVES) is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to lead a team supporting a US accounting firm from the Philippines. This role provides international exposure and a clear path to rapid career advancement into managerial positions.

Work setup is onsite in Baguio City with a 2:00 PM–11:00 PM schedule. You will supervise client accounting work, review financial statements, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with US-based CAMs to ensure accurate weekly and monthly

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in public accounting, restaurant, or retail industry is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience reviewing work and supporting junior team members.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Experience with any ERP system with the ability to quickly adapt to new platforms.
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Willing to work a US-aligned shift (2:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday to Friday).
• Willing to work onsite in Baguio City, Benguet.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and review accounting work for assigned clients.
• Assist in managing multiple client engagements.
• Coordinate with US-based Client Account Managers (CAMs).
• Perform and review general accounting functions and reports.
• Review general ledger accounts, reconciliations, and workpapers.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements.
• Ensure timely and accurate weekly and month-end reporting.
• Support process improvements and internal controls.
• Guide and mentor junior accountants.
• Take on increasing leadership responsibilities as the team grows.
