Job summary

Elite Virtual Employment Solutions (EVES) in the Philippines is seeking an Accountant to perform general accounting functions, reconcile balance sheets, and analyze financial data. You will prepare weekly and monthly reports and ensure GAAP compliance.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of accounting experience, a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, and strong English communication. You must be willing to work a US overlap shift (2 pm–11 pm) and work onsite at Tuguegarao City, Baguio City,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience.
• Experience reconciling general ledger accounts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong communication skills and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting functions.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheets and general ledger accounts.
• Analyze financial data.
• Prepare/review weekly and month-end accounting reports.
• Prepare/review financial statements and report according to schedule.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Support month-end and year-end close process.
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
• Provide input into the department’s goal-setting process.
• Complete special projects as necessary.
• Must be able to multitask and work on several clients on each given day.
