Job summary

The Back Room Offshoring Inc. is seeking a Junior Accountant in the Philippines to support day-to-day finance operations across multiple entities. You will focus on reconciliations, invoicing, accounts receivable, payroll support, and cashflow reporting.

You will work with the Finance Manager and team to ensure accurate records, timely deadlines, and proper month-end close processes. This role provides hands-on experience in a growing offshore accounting function.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile bank transactions daily across multiple entity and brand accounts.
• Review outstanding invoices and coordinate invoicing with purchase orders.
• Update aged receivables and follow up on overdue invoices.
• Maintain weekly cashflow reporting based on updated receivables information.
• Process payroll and related payments.
• Submit STP files to the Australian Taxation Office within deadlines.
• Support month-end close with journal entries and prepayments.
