Job summary

RI Chemical Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant/Inventory Specialist to monitor and reconcile inventory transactions, prepare journal vouchers, and support CIP accounting. The role requires strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems, with emphasis on accuracy and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities include coordinating with warehouse, purchasing, and other departments to maintain precise records and to prepare inventory and operational expense reports,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or related field.
• Preferably with accounting, inventory, or cost accounting experience.
• Knowledge of inventory monitoring, reconciliation, and journal entries.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic analytics.
• Familiarity with accounting or ERP systems is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

• Monitor work orders, raw material issuances, yields, and inventory movements.


• Assist in the accounting and monitoring of Construction-in-Progress (CIP).


• Prepare inventory-related and operational expense reports.


• Assist in cycle counts, month-end inventory counts, annual inventory counts, and special inventory counts.


• Coordinate with warehouse, inventory control, purchasing, and other departments to ensure accurate inventory records.


• Maintain organized accounting files and records and ensure compliance with company policies and ISO standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or a related field.


• Preferably with experience in accounting, inventory, or cost accounting.


• Knowledgeable in inventory monitoring, reconciliation, and journal entries.
