Job summary

King Cebu Properties is seeking a Junior Accountant (General Ledger & Financial Reporting) in Cebu City. The role supports month-end closing, BIR reporting, and statutory compliance while maintaining accurate general ledger records.

You will document processes, assist in asset tagging, and coordinate with third-party processors for permits across properties. CPA is a plus; 2–3 years in General Ledger is preferred.

Qualifications

• College graduate preferably Accountancy or Management Accounting.
• With at least 2-3 years experience in General Ledger.
• Licensed Certified Public Accountant is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and document effective processes and procedures for effective control of the accounting activities under supervision.
• Conducts asset tagging and assists in the conduct of inventory counts of assets.
• Prepare working papers for BIR reportorial requirements of the company.
• File monthly compliance requirements with SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-ibig.
• Does Month-end Closing Activities.
• Liase with third party processor of business permits for all company properties, including those of the affiliate companies.
• Ensure the timely compliance with BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-Ibig and SEC requirements.
• Provide back-up support to Sr. Accounting Supervisor.
• Prepares journal entries and general ledger and other books of accounts for submission to BIR at the end of the taxable year
