Job summary

Millennium Business Services, Inc is seeking an entry-level to junior accountant to support daily accounting functions in the Manila region. The role involves processing transactions, posting journal entries, and maintaining the general ledger with accuracy.

The successful candidate will assist in preparing bank reconciliations, schedules for internal reports, and government filings such as BIR and LGU requirements.

Qualifications

• 1 year of general accounting experience or more.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using accounting software and systems.

About the Job

• Process transactions and prepare journal entries
• Maintain general ledger and reconcile with subsidiary ledgers
• Prepare bank reconciliation, accounting schedules and other related details
• Assist in filing the returns and submitting summary/Alpha Lists
• Assist in preparing the schedules for internal financial reports
• Prepare the monthly, quarterly and annual requirements of the BIR, LGU and other government agencies.

QUALIFICATION:

• B.S. Accountancy / Management Accounting / Accounting Technology / Accounting Information System
• At least 1 year of experience in general accounting work
• Can communicates clearly (written & verbal) Keen to details
• Experience in accounting software
