Job summary

Tech One Global Philippines is seeking an IT Administrator to manage and maintain our computer systems, networks, and office hardware across on-site operations. You will ensure secure, efficient IT infrastructure that supports the needs of our organization.

• Proven experience as IT Administrator, Systems Administrator, or similar.
• Proficiency in Windows/Linux, Active Directory, and enterprise tools (Office 365, Azure).
• Strong grasp of identity management, networking, and security principles.
• Experience with firewalls, CCTV systems, and event AV setups is a plus.
• Excellent communication and service mindset.

Responsibilities

• System Administration & Cloud Support: manage on-premises and cloud systems (Windows Server, Linux, Office 365); support Azure configurations; monitor performance.
• Hardware & IT Asset Management: oversee lifecycle of laptops, desktops, servers, printers; maintain hardware inventory; provide provisioning and disposal support.
• Network, Firewall & Security Support: configure and maintain LAN/WAN, firewalls, routers, switches, VPN; apply security best practices.
• Event Technical Setup & AV Support: provide technical support for internal events; set up AV equipment.
• CCTV Setup & Maintenance: configure and maintain CCTV systems; ensure proper monitoring and retrieval.
• Technical Support & Troubleshooting: resolve IT issues; escalate when needed.

Your Role in a Nutshell:

As an IT Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our computer systems, networks, and office hardware. You will ensure that all IT infrastructure is secure, efficient, and supports the needs of the organization.

What You Will Do:

1. System Administration & Cloud Support

• Install, configure, and manage on-premises and cloud-based systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux, Office 365).
• Support cloud services such as Microsoft Azure (specific configurations to be aligned with the Infrastructure Team).
• Perform user access management and monitor system performance.

2. Hardware & IT Asset Management

• Oversee the lifecycle of IT devices, including laptops, desktops, servers, printers, and peripherals.
• Maintain accurate hardware inventory, conduct regular audits, and support device provisioning and disposal.
• Configure and support MIHCM biometric devices for timekeeping and access.

3. Network, Firewall & Security Support

• Configure, monitor, and maintain the internal network (LAN/WAN), firewalls, routers, switches, and VPN.
• Apply security best practices, manage identity access, and support infrastructure integrity.

4. Event Technical Setup & AV Support

• Provide technical support for internal events, meetings, and presentations.
• Set up projectors, microphones, speakers, and other AV equipment to ensure smooth execution.

5. CCTV Setup & Maintenance

• Configure, manage, and maintain CCTV systems in coordination with the facilities and security team.
• Ensure proper monitoring, recording, and retrieval procedures are in place.

6. Technical Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide responsive and effective support for all IT-related issues—hardware, software, and network.
• Identify root causes and resolve incidents in a timely manner, escalating when necessary.

7. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with internal IT security standards and protocols.

What We Look For:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Administrator, Systems Administrator, or similar technical support role.
• Proficiency in Windows/Linux systems, Active Directory, and enterprise tools (e.g., Office 365, Azure).
• Strong grasp of identity management, networking, and security principles.
• Familiarity with setting up and maintaining firewalls, CCTV systems, and event AV setups.
• Ability to clearly assess issues and recommend practical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate are a plus.
