Job summary

ALPA EXPONENTIAL BUILDERS INC. is seeking a Junior Architect-Designer in Metro Manila. This full-time role offers an opportunity for early-career architects to translate designs into technical drawings and contribute to residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.

You will work under mentorship, assist with proposals, drawings, site surveys, and permit submissions, and collaborate with engineers and contractors to ensure design accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit or similar software and strong drawing conventions.
• Solid understanding of building codes and construction practices.
• Excellent visual communication with precise drawings.
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and environmental awareness.
• High attention to detail and accuracy; able to work in a team.
• Good organizational and time management skills; professional English communication.
• Knowledge of Philippine building codes is preferred; 3D rendering experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior architects in preparing design proposals and materials.

About the role

ALPA EXPONENTIAL BUILDERS INC. is seeking a Jr. Architect - Designer to join our team in Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity for early-career architects to develop their skills whilst contributing meaningfully to innovative architectural projects. As a Junior Architect - Designer, you will work under the mentorship of experienced architect, translating conceptual designs into detailed technical drawings and contributing to the creative development of residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. This role is essential to our design process, bridging the gap between senior architects' vision and construction implementation.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting senior architects in the preparation of design proposals and presentation materials for clients
• Creating technical drawings, plans, sections, and elevations in accordance with architectural standards and building codes
• Conducting site surveys and analysis to inform design decisions
• Researching building materials, construction methods, and sustainable design practices
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including structural engineers, MEP engineers, and contractors
• Incorporating client feedback and design revisions into architectural documentation
• Assisting with building permit submissions and liaising with local authorities on regulatory requirements
• Supporting project management activities and maintaining accurate project documentation

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related discipline from an accredited institution
• Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar programmes
• Strong understanding of architectural drawing conventions, building codes, and construction practices
• Excellent visual communication skills with the ability to produce clear, precise drawings
• Solid knowledge of sustainable design principles and environmental awareness
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical work
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Professional communication abilities in English; additional language skills are advantageous
• Knowledge of Philippine building codes and local architectural regulations is preferred
• Experience with 3D visualisation or rendering software is a plus
