Job summary

Our Clients is seeking a Software Engineering Analyst with Java development and ServiceNow experience to design, build, test, and implement software solutions. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and SMEs to understand requirements and deliver effective applications.

The role emphasizes SDLC compliance, quality delivery, and knowledge sharing across the team, with opportunities to mentor juniors and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• ITIL certification is preferred or required.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and document applications and software solutions.
• Develop and implement Java-based applications in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.
• Support ServiceNow development and implementation based on business requirements.
• Follow established SDLC processes and development standards.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business and customer requirements.
• Participate in testing, deployment, handover, and post-implementation support.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, escalating complex concerns when necessary.
• Estimate development effort, track progress, and deliver within timelines and budget.
• Maintain accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of outputs.
• Identify risks and provide recommendations to ensure project success.
• Share knowledge and mentor junior team members.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and solutions.
