Our Clients is seeking a Software Engineering Analyst with Java development and ServiceNow expertise to design, develop, test, and implement software solutions.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements, ensure quality, and maintain SDLC compliance, while mentoring junior colleagues and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Engineering or related field.
• Experience with Java development.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
• ServiceNow development experience preferred.
• ITIL certification.
• ServiceNow CSA certification.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and document applications and software solutions.
• Develop Java-based applications in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.
• Support ServiceNow development and implementation based on business requirements.
• Follow SDLC processes and development standards.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Participate in testing, deployment, handover, and post-implementation support.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and escalate as needed.
• Estimate development effort, track progress, and deliver on time and budget.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Software Engineering Analyst with experience in Java development and ServiceNow to support the design, development, testing, and implementation of software solutions.
The role will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and subject matter experts to understand requirements, develop solutions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and document applications and software solutions.
• Develop and implement Java-based applications in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.
• Support ServiceNow development and implementation based on business requirements.
• Follow established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and development standards.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business and customer requirements.
• Participate in testing, deployment, handover, and post-implementation support.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, escalating complex concerns when necessary.
• Estimate development effort, track progress, and deliver assigned work within agreed timelines and budget.
• Maintain accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of outputs.
• Identify potential risks and provide recommendations to help ensure successful project delivery.
• Share knowledge and provide guidance or mentoring to junior team members.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and solutions.

Qualifications:

• Some relevant experience in software development or a related IT role.
• Experience with Java development.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with ServiceNow development is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ITIL certification.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
