Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to drive data-driven decision making for procurement and finance. You will lead requirements management, translate needs into scalable Power BI solutions, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable value.

You will guide BRD development, data modeling reviews, and UAT while mentoring junior analysts and aligning stakeholders across business and IT. This role emphasizes governance, process improvement, and analytics delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst.
• At least 1 year in a lead or senior business analysis capacity.
• Proven experience delivering BI, reporting, analytics, or dashboard projects.
• Experience producing BRDs, functional specs, process docs, and data mapping artifacts.
• Hands-on Power BI implementation, including requirements, dashboard design, data model reviews, and UAT facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements elicitation workshops with procurement leaders, category managers, finance controllers, IT teams, and data owners.
• Document current-state and future-state processes; drive continuous process improvement in procurement.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specs for Power BI dashboards and analytics solutions.
• Define data models, KPIs, business rules, and user interactions; produce BRDs and functional specs.
• Support project delivery: scope definition, effort estimation, RAID, status updates across governance forums.
• Coordinate UAT, defect management, and post-go-live adoption support.
