About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join the team at Interactive Multi-Purpose Cooperative. This is a full-time position based in Manila City, Metro Manila. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene and overall aesthetic appeal of our facilities. Your work directly contributes to creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests and visitors, and is essential to upholding the high standards that define our organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and tidying of assigned areas including rooms, corridors, common areas and facilities to the highest standards

• Dust, vacuum, mop and sweep all surfaces thoroughly to maintain cleanliness and hygiene

• Change linens, make beds and ensure all bedding is fresh and properly arranged

• Clean and sanitise bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers and mirrors using appropriate cleaning products and techniques

• Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish in designated areas

• Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, stationery and other amenities in assigned areas

• Report any maintenance issues, damage or safety hazards to the appropriate supervisor

• Follow all health and safety protocols and use cleaning equipment correctly and safely

• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests for additional cleaning or supplies

• Maintain confidentiality and respect guest privacy at all times

• Assist with deep cleaning projects and special tasks as assigned

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a Housekeeping Attendant or in a similar cleaning or hospitality role

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards

• Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, pushing and pulling throughout the shift

• Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor

• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile

• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures and use of cleaning chemicals

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Flexibility to accommodate shift patterns and changes to the work schedule as needed

• High standards of personal hygiene and presentation

• Previous hospitality experience or training in housekeeping is preferred but not essential for the right candidate
