About the Role

We are seeking a ITOM & Observability Solutions Architect to join our Monitoring and Event Management Design (MEMD) team in Makati City (Hybrid). In this role, you will design and engineer enterprise-scale observability, monitoring, and event management architectures that ensure the performance, resilience, and availability of critical IT assets across multi-cloud landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and implementation of enterprise monitoring, observability, and event management solutions.
• Collaborate with MEMD design leads across diverse technical domains, including Event Management, Azure Monitor, AppDynamics, Grafana, and ThousandEyes.
• Develop and enforce robust observability and monitoring standards aligned with enterprise architecture guidelines.
• Design and optimize cost-effective monitoring services for workloads running across SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS environments.
• Engage with business units to gather operational requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs.
• Drive operational excellence by planning and executing system upgrades, automation enhancements, and lifecycle management.
• Promote technical innovation by leading Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives and implementing automated monitoring strategies.

Core Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of dedicated experience in enterprise IT monitoring, observability, or Systems/Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
• Non-Negotiable: Extensive, proven experience in alert integration into ServiceNow ITOM and implementing ServiceNow ITOM AIOps configurations.
• Strong technical expertise in Azure Log Analytics, Kusto Query Language (KQL), telemetry standards, APM, and Azure services.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages, specifically Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, and .NET/C#.
• Hands-on experience with modern observability platforms (Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics, ThousandEyes, Riverbed, Nobl9).
• Solid understanding of API-driven integrations and infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an IT Solutions Architecture role with a deep focus on application performance management (APM).
• Expertise in designing proactive monitoring solutions utilizing Azure services, synthetic transactions, and advanced telemetry pipelines.
• Sound understanding of enterprise network architectures and security concepts (WAN/LAN, TCP/IP, PKI).
• A clear, practical vision for AIOps implementation and automated operational remediation.
• Familiarity with ITSM compliance frameworks and structured enterprise change management processes.
