Job summary

Octal Philippines Inc. is seeking a Technical Trainer to deliver IT training to employees and external customers. You will design and facilitate classroom and online programs and create engaging training materials that align with sound instructional design principles.

You will work with SMEs to keep content current, assess learning outcomes, and continually improve learning programs. Strong English communication and project management are essential in a fast-paced, virtual environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years working as an IT Technical Trainer.
• Background working in the IT industry strongly preferred.
• Experience training in Java, SQL, JavaScript and HTML/CSS strongly preferred.
• Experience learning new technical topics and delivering training on these topics is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills; Fluency in English required.
• Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training to employees and external customers.
• Design, develop and facilitate classroom and online training.
• Create training materials (user guides, videos, job aids, graphics).
• Master, train, and evaluate all learning objectives from curricula.
• Consult with SMEs to ensure training content is current and accurate.
• Track, evaluate, and report training effectiveness.
• Maintain professional standards and build cross-unit relationships.
• Manage learning programs using a project management approach.
