Macondray Finance Corporation is seeking an IT Technical Supervisor to lead our IT team, ensuring security, reliability, and efficiency of our systems and infrastructure. The role requires hands-on expertise in systems administration, networking, cybersecurity, and team supervision.

The ideal candidate will manage cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), Linux/Windows servers, and data protection, with strong leadership and communication skills to translate technical issues into clear business terms.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of proven experience in IT roles, supervisory preferred.
• Experience leading and managing an IT team.
• Hands-on with cloud platforms AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows servers and security tools.
• Scripting knowledge: PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Certs like CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or Cisco CCNA are a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Engineer, IT Security Specialist, or similar IT role, preferably at a supervisory level.
• Proven experience in leading and managing an IT team.

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.

• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows servers and corporate network security tools.
• High-level knowledge of data and systems management, including data protection, security, network connectivity, and disaster recovery.
• Experience in cybersecurity operations and related specialized IT security tasks.
• Basic scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation and infrastructure management.
• Strong leadership skills, with proactive initiative and a high sense of accountability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical and security issues in simple, clear business terms.
• Highly organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or Cisco CCNA are an advantage but not required.
