Access Customs Brokerage Inc. in Dasmariñas, Cavite, is seeking a hands-on IT Team Lead who can architect solutions, set standards, and mentor junior developers while staying close to the code.

You will lead a local development team powering cross-border trade apps, review designs, enforce quality, validate AI-generated code before production, and coordinate with our Canada-based partner.

Qualifications

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on IT Team Lead who can architect solutions, set the technical standards, and mentor junior developers, all while staying close to the code. As the team grows, so does this role, with a clear path toward IT Manager.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a local development team building applications that power real cross-border trade operations

• Review and approve solution designs, and keep architecture aligned with our Canadian IT partner's standards

• Set the bar for code quality: development standards, code reviews, testing, and deployment practices

• Validate AI-generated code before it ever touches production

• Serve as the technical bridge between the Philippine team and our counterparts in Canada

• Stay hands-on, especially on high-risk or architecturally significant components

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience

• At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience

• Prior experience leading or mentoring junior developers

• Strong grasp of software architecture, system design, and the application lifecycle

• Strong C# and .NET (Framework and modern .NET), REST APIs, web applications, third-party API integrations

• Python for automation, scripting, and AI integrations is a big plus

• Solid HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience in React, Angular, or Vue as an advantage

• Strong Microsoft SQL Server, including schema design, query and stored procedure optimization, and performance troubleshooting

• Windows Server and IIS, plus deployment, monitoring, and logging know-how, with Azure familiarity as an advantage

• Clear communicator who can explain technical matters to both developers and non-technical stakeholders, including remote teams in Canada
