Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• 5+ years of IT Operations, Infrastructure, Technical Support, or Systems Administration experience.
• 3+ years hands-on PHP web application development experience.
• 2+ years supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Manufacturing environment experience is highly preferred.
• Experience supporting ERP systems (SAP Business One) is advantageous.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven IT Systems & Technical Support Supervisor to lead both our System Development and Technical Support teams. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of the company's IT infrastructure while overseeing the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of in-house business applications.

The successful candidate will manage daily IT operations across manufacturing sites, including desktop and laptop support, network connectivity, cybersecurity, IT asset management, and technical support. In addition, the role will lead the development of web-based applications using PHP and collaborate with business units to deliver technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and support digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support

• Lead the daily operations of the IT Operations team.
• Ensure high availability of desktops, laptops, printers, servers, network devices, and business applications.
• Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT hardware and software.
• Monitor network performance, internet connectivity, Wi-Fi, VPN, and server infrastructure.
• Ensure timely resolution of IT incidents and service requests within agreed service levels.
• Implement preventive maintenance and monitor overall system health.

Systems Development

• Supervise the System Development team in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining internal business applications.
• Develop and enhance web-based systems using PHP and related technologies.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and deliver system enhancements.
• Maintain application security, performance, and database integrity.
• Integrate internal applications with ERP systems and other business platforms.

Information Security

• Assisting and ensuring cybersecurity policies and best practices.
• Manage user access, endpoint protection, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Monitor and address security vulnerabilities and incidents.

IT Asset Management

• Maintain accurate inventory of IT hardware, software licenses, and peripherals.
• Manage IT asset lifecycie, warranty tracking, preventive maintenance, and replacement planning.
• Coordinate IT procurement recommendations based on business requirements.

Team Leadership

• Supervise, mentor, and develop both the System Development and IT Operations teams.
• Plan workloads, assign tasks, and monitor project and operational performance.
• Conduct coaching, performance evaluations, and technical skills development.
• Promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous process improvement across the IT department.

Qualifications

• Preferably with a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Preferably with atleast 5 years of experience in IT Operations, Infrastructure, Technical Support, or Systems Administration.
• Preferably with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in PHP web application development.
• Preferably with at least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Preferably with experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
• Preferably with experience supporting ERP systems (preferably SAP Business One) is an advantage.
