Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc. in Boracay is seeking an IT Specialist / IT Support Specialist on a 12-month contract to provide technical support to end-users and manage IT operations.

You will handle troubleshooting, device setup, AD/email accounts, and enterprise systems like SAP, OneHR, and OneApp, while maintaining inventory and assisting with procurements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of IT support or operations experience.
• Strong hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting knowledge.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, email admin, and IT asset management is a plus.
• Experience with SAP or similar enterprise systems is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willing to work on-site in Boracay.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user technical support via chat, calls, email, and remote sessions.
• Troubleshoot issues with email, networks, storage, PCs, and peripherals.
• Perform PC resets, reformatting, data backup and restore.
• Assist users with SAP, OneHR, OneApp, and other enterprise apps.

• Manage user IT requirements including AD/email accounts and policy orientation.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and conduct periodic counts.

About the role

IT Specialist / IT Support Specialist providing technical support to end-users and managing IT operations on a project-based contract for 12 months.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end-users through chat, calls, email, and remote assistance

• Troubleshoot issues involving email, network connectivity, storage, PCs, peripherals, and other IT devices

• Perform PC resets and reformatting, including data backup and restoration

• Assist users with business applications such as SAP, OneHR, OneApp, and other enterprise systems

• Prepare and set up IT equipment and materials for meetings and business activities

• Log, track, and monitor technical concerns through ticketing systems or other IT support platforms

• Manage user IT requirements, including Active Directory/email account creation, PC setup, attendance enrollment, and IT policy orientation

• Maintain IT asset inventory and databases and conduct periodic inventory counts

• Assist in monitoring and maintaining system and application availability

• Support the procurement of IT-related materials, services, and equipment

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in IT Support, Technical Support, IT Operations, or a similar role

• Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and technical troubleshooting

• Familiarity with Active Directory, email administration, and IT asset management is an advantage

• Experience with SAP or other enterprise applications is a plus

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
