Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc in Taguig is seeking a motivated IT Support Intern who is a tech-savvy student or recent graduate eager to jumpstart a career in IT.

In this hands-on role, you will assist with hardware/software troubleshooting, system setup, and day-to-day IT operations, while working in a hybrid model with 2-3 days on-site at 5th Ave, Bonifacio Global City.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recent graduate with an IT-related degree.
• Basic understanding of Windows/Mac OS, networking fundamentals, and hardware components.

Are you a tech-savvy student or recent graduate eager to jumpstart your career in Information Technology? We are looking for a motivated and proactive IT Support Intern to join our team!

In this hands-on role, you will work alongside experienced IT professionals to provide technical assistance, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and support our daily IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Troubleshooting: Assist in resolving day-to-day hardware, software, and network issues for internal staff.

• System Setup & Maintenance: Work on setting up, configuring, and deploying workstations, laptops, monitors, and peripherals.

• User Support: Act as the first point of contact for basic IT support tickets via helpdesk, email, or in-person.

• Software Installation: Help install, update, and license essential software applications and operating systems.

• Account & Access Management: Assist with basic user account creation, password resets, and access rights management.

• Documentation & Asset Tracking: Maintain an organized inventory of IT assets and document common technical procedures/troubleshooting steps.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or a recent graduate of a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of Windows/Mac operating systems, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi), and hardware components.

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and basic troubleshooting tools is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a eager-to-learn attitude.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
