Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking an IT Specialist in Manila to manage and maintain our network infrastructure across endpoints, ensuring high availability and performance. You will enforce ISO/CIS security standards and monitor networks for incidents, in a hybrid dayshift setting at Eastwood, Libis Quezon City.

Key duties include configuring networks, securing communications (VPN, firewalls), and documenting processes.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of hands-on network administration experience.
• Proven track record of managing cross-brand network equipment at scale (min 2,000 endpoints).
• Strong technical proficiency in network configuration, security management, and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Solid understanding of ISO and CIS security standards.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Flexibility to work shifting schedules, holiday shifts, and additional hours as required.

Your Role:

As an IT Specialist, you will:

• Manage and maintain network infrastructure across all company endpoints, ensuring high availability, stability, and performance.

• Monitor network performance, diagnose complex connectivity or latency issues, and execute rapid incident resolution.

• Implement robust network security controls, including firewall management, intrusion detection/prevention, and encryption protocols.

• Automate routine network tasks and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize network resource usage.

• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation of network configurations, policies, and standard operating procedures.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• 4–6 years of hands‑on network administration experience.

• Proven track record of managing cross-brand network equipment at scale (minimum 2,000 endpoints).

• Strong technical proficiency in network configuration, security management, and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).

• Solid understanding of compliance frameworks, specifically ISO and CIS security standards.

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

• Flexibility to work shifting schedules, holiday shifts, and additional hours as required by business demands.
  

Preferred skills/expertise

• Active Cisco certification (such as CCNA or higher).

• Demonstrated experience in network automation and scripting for routine maintenance.

• Proven background in creating and updating technical process documentation.
