Job summary

MicroSourcing in Pasay is seeking a System Engineer – IT Support to administer Microsoft 365 services, manage endpoint protection, and support core networking. You will collaborate with global IT teams and ensure SLAs are met.

The role covers onboarding, asset inventories, and documentation, with hybrid work and mid shift flexibility. Strong English communication and multitasking across regions are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience administering Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint) and user/license management.
• Strong Windows systems administration experience (Windows 10/11, servers, imaging/patching).
• Experience supporting macOS/MacBook in a corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including email security controls and mailbox requests.
• Provide endpoint management and troubleshooting for Windows and macOS devices.
• Support core networking components (LAN, WLAN, switches, firewalls) and monitor EDR tooling to secure infrastructure.
• Manage user onboarding/offboarding, access provisioning, and IT asset inventories.
• Resolve support tickets within SLAs and maintain technical documentation with global IT teams.

Your Role

As a System Engineer – IT Support, you will:

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, managing email security controls and mailbox-related requests.
• Provide comprehensive endpoint management and troubleshooting for Windows and macOS devices, including hardware diagnostics and standard software deployment.
• Support core networking components (LAN, WLAN, firewalls) and monitor endpoint detection and response (EDR) tooling to maintain a secure infrastructure.
• Manage user onboarding/offboarding processes, access provisioning, and maintain accurate IT asset inventories.
• Resolve support tickets within agreed SLAs, maintain accurate technical documentation, and collaborate with global IT teams to enforce access-control and governance requirements.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Proven experience administering Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, user/license management).
• Working knowledge of email security concepts and tools (phishing/spam handling, mail flow, DKIM/DMARC/SPF basics).
• Strong Windows systems administration experience (Windows 10/11, Windows Server basics, imaging/patching).
• Experience supporting macOS/MacBook devices in a corporate environment.
• Solid PC hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
• Experience installing and maintaining standard corporate software baselines/images.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals – LAN, WLAN, switches, access points, firewalls, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wi‑Fi.
• Experience with EDR (Endpoint Detection & Response) solutions such as CrowdStrike, or similar.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Active Directory and/or Microsoft Entra ID, including user account and access administration.
• Experience with an IT ticketing/service management platform, incident logging, and SLA-driven support.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with a strong customer-service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise across multiple support requests.
• Strong documentation and organisational skills.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Microsoft 365 Certified.
• Experience supporting users across multiple regions and cultures.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune or similar endpoint management platforms.
• Experience supporting users in a fintech, financial services, or other regulated environment.
• Exposure to ITIL-based service management practices.
