Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking an IT Specialist for End-User Computing Group (EUCG) to deliver 1st level technical support and manage end-user devices. You will assist users with IT asset requests, maintain asset inventory, and ensure security and compliance across computing environments.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, documentation in FreshService, and adherence to SLA commitments, with onsite working arrangements in Paranaque City and dayshift scheduling.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• 0-1 year of relevant work experience preferred; candidates with up to 6 months welcome to apply.
• Bachelor's/College Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any IT-related course.
• Basic knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems, especially in desktop and endpoint setup and support.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Experience in Call Center, BPO, Systems Integrator (SI), or IT Service Provider environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st level technical support professionally, efficiently and effectively, maintaining a high degree of customer service.
• Assist end users with requests related to their IT assets (e.g., issuing new hardware, upgrading software, troubleshooting).
• Keep an accurate inventory of all IT assets (laptops, desktops, software licenses, mobile devices).
• Respond to technical inquiries from internal and external customers and help them resolve any hardware or software problems.
• Log all handled IT requests and IT incidents in FreshService and maintain full documentation.
• Adhere to the IT's SLA commitments for IT Service Requests and IT Incidents in FreshService ITSM.
• Adhere to the assigned IT Shift Support schedule by the IT Supervisor/Manager for EUCG.

Position Purpose:

The IT Specialist for End-User Computing Group (EUCG) is responsible for providing technical support, managing hardware and software, and ensuring the seamless operation of IT systems that are directly used by employees within the organization. This role focuses on optimizing end-user devices and computing environments, ensuring that users have the necessary tools and technology to work efficiently while maintaining security and compliance. The IT Specialist will troubleshoot issues, manage IT equipment, and implement new solutions to enhance user productivity and satisfaction.

The IT Specialist for End-User Computing Group will be responsible for the following:

• To provide 1st level technical support professionally, efficiently and effectively, maintaining a high degree of customer service.
• Assist end users with requests related to their IT assets (e.g., issuing new hardware, upgrading software, troubleshooting).
• Keep an accurate inventory of all IT assets (laptops, desktops, software licenses, mobile devices, etc.).
• Respond to technical inquiries from internal and external customers and help them resolve any hardware or software problems.
• To log all handled IT requests and IT incidents in FreshService and maintain full documentation.
• Adhere to the IT's SLA commitments for IT Service Requests and IT Incidents that are recorded, tracked and documented in FreshService ITSM.
• Adhere and comply with the assigned IT Shift Support schedule by the IT Supervisor and/or IT Manager for End-User Computing Group (EUCG) in alignment to the business needs of the company.
• Provide assistance to IT peers to help complete IT projects, initiatives and activities and to help resolve IT issues.
• To arrange for external technical support where problems cannot be resolved in house.
• To maintain user security on all systems as per the company policy.

Qualifications and Typical Experience:
