ISTA Solutions is seeking an experienced IT Specialist to join our team in Manila. The role focuses on providing technical support for hardware, software, and networks, ensuring smooth daily operations for staff.

You will install and maintain desktops, configure user accounts, and perform basic network troubleshooting. Fresh grads are welcome; BPO experience is a plus, with day, mid, and night shifts available.

Qualifications

Education from vocational diploma or bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent.
At least 6 months of experience as an IT Technician / Help Desk / Associate.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
Diagnose and resolve system crashes, slow performance, and application errors.
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and scanners.
Set up user accounts, email, and network access for new employees.

Roles and responsibilities

Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Diagnose and resolve system crashes, slow performance, application errors, and peripheral device issues.
Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and scanners.
Install, update, and troubleshoot operating systems and software applications.
Set up user accounts, email, and network access for new employees.
Perform basic network troubleshooting including Wi‑Fi, VPN, and LAN connectivity issues.
Ensure users have access to shared drives, printers, and other network resources.
Implement security measures such as antivirus software, firewalls, and system updates.
Assist with data backup and recovery to maintain data integrity.
Track and manage IT hardware and software inventory and coordinate repairs when needed.
Document support requests and resolutions in ticketing systems.
Provide user training, create technical documentation, and elevate complex issues to higher-level IT teams.

Requirements

With Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate on Bachelors/College Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent. (Fresh Grads can apply)
At least 6 months experience as an IT Technician / Help Desk / Associate
BPO experience is an advantage
Good verbal and written English skills
Willing to work onsite in Makati and Mandaluyong
Amenable working shifting schedules (Day, Mid, Night)
