Job summary

Winance Consultancy Inc. is seeking a Helpdesk & IT Support associate to assist users with accounts, software, hardware, printers, and basic network issues.

You will provide remote and onsite support and follow a standard ticketing workflow to ensure timely resolution. You'll handle system and endpoint operations, including installation, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of PCs, printers, and peripherals, plus basic software installations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Handle basic IT tickets and user requests (accounts, software, hardware, printers, and basic network issues).
• Provide remote and onsite user support; ensure requests progress through the standard ticketing workflow.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and escalate when necessary; assist with asset movement and deployment.
• Execute standard SOP procedures (installation, configuration, deployment, etc.) and maintain endpoint devices.
• Maintain accurate asset records; support warehouse and inventory operations for IT assets.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Helpdesk & Support

• Handle basic IT tickets and user requests (accounts, software, hardware, printers, and basic network issues)
• Provide remote and onsite user support
• Ensure all requests are properly processed through the standard ticketing workflow
• Perform basic troubleshooting and escalation when necessary

System & Endpoint Operations

• Execute standard SOP procedures (installation, configuration, reformatting, initialization, deployment, etc.)
• Maintain and support endpoint devices such as PCs, laptops, printers, and peripherals Assist with software installation and basic system configuration
• Support daily operational and maintenance activities

Asset & Inventory Management

• Assist with basic IT asset movement and deployment (check-in / check-out / transfer) Support warehouse and inventory operations for IT assets
• Maintain accurate asset records and ensure timely system updates
• Perform basic asset verification and inventory checking (system records vs physical assets)

Qualifications & Requirements

• Familiar with Windows operating systems and common IT troubleshooting
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and common IT issues
• Able to follow SOPs and operational processes
• Good awareness of asset management and record accuracy
• Basic communication and coordination skills
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and willing to learn

Shift & Operational Requirement

• Must be willing to work on shifting schedules to support 18-hour IT operations, with occasional 24-hour operational coverage during peak or critical situations.
• Must be willing to work on weekends, holidays, or overtime when required
• Able to perform proper shift handover and operational endorsement
• Must have good attendance discipline and a strong sense of work responsibility

Preferred Skills (Plus Points)

• Experience with ticketing systems
• Basic knowledge of Cisco / FortiGate networking
• Experience handling IT assets or inventory systems
• Experience in Helpdesk or IT Support environment
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware / Proxmox / Hyper-V)
